Seed Update #2

photo 2.JPGphoto 2.JPG   It's been about three weeks since we transplanted our black bean plants. Since the last seed update, the plants have grown immensely. They are now five weeks old and have began to flower tiny, white blossoms. One of our Club Soda plants, named Leslie by my teammate Raven, had a stem that was accidentally broken by another one of our teammates. When we checked the plants today, "Leslie's" stem had straightened and fixed itself.

The Phaseolus Vulgaris is a producer that receives and creates energy from sunlight, water, and nutrients in the soil it's planted in. For this reason, on an ecological pyramid diagram, it would be at the bottom of the pyramid.
